The Croft is situated in the middle of Scarborough's beautiful North Bay. Those who know the resort will need no introduction to the magnificent views from this splendid location. For first time visitors, the sweep of the bay and the coastal cliffs to the north, coupled with the rugged castle headland to the south will stay in your memory long after returning home.

Within easy walking distance are the sandy beaches of the North and South Bays, the Old Town and harbour, the shopping centre and a range of tourist attractions. Children are especially well catered for. The North Yorkshire Moors National Park, which provides excellent walking or car tours, are a short distance away. The historic city of York is about an hours drive. An extensive range of tourist information leaflets are available in the hotel to help you get the most from your visit to Scarborough and North Yorkshire. The Croft provides a good base to enjoy a wide range of activities, or just come to relax - in comfortable surroundings and a friendly atmosphere.

The AA and Quality in Tourism have both inspected The Croft and it has been awarded Three Stars. Double, Single, Twin and Family Rooms are available. All rooms have en-suite or private facilities, central heating. colour TV, radio alarm clock, hair dryer and a kettle.

The Lounge has a panoramic view of the North Bay and the 12th Century Castle on the headland. Colour TV, a video player and a variety of videos and games are provided.

In the Dining Room with its sea view, we serve quality, home cooked food with a wide choice of meals. Home cooked vegetarian food is always available and special diets are readily catered for. Fresh produce is used whenever possible.
Dinner is served from 6.00 - 7.30 pm.
