Istana Coastal Cottage is a self-contained rammed earth and native timber cottage set amongst four acres on the edge of the tranquil Waimea Inlet. Inside, its quality furnishings are a blend of modern and Asian antique giving both comfort and beauty. Outside there is a swimming pool and a tennis court.

The facilities are: a queen bedroom; private bathroom; self-service laundry; double sofa bed in alcove; phone, TV, video and stereo; full kitchen for self-catering and continental breakfast provisions are supplied.

Istana is ideally located 20 minutes from Nelson and only 40 minutes from the spectacular Abel Tasman National Park. Istana is in the midst of the region's wine and craft trails and five golf courses.

Guests can sail, kayak, swim, play tennis or just relax on their private terrace, perhaps with a book or one of Nelson's fine wines.
