1. Registration 

First you need to register which enables us to identify you, this part is free.

To register click on the link 'Login to Advertise' in the left column and complete the simple form making sure that your email address is correct. If it is incorrect you will not be able to proceed.

Within a few seconds you should receive an email which contains a link that you should click to complete your registration. If your email program prevents this, just copy the link and paste it into your browser's address bar. You will be presented with an activation confirmation page and a link to the login page.

2. Payment

Once logged in, you will be offered a choice of two advertising plans. Choose the plan that fits your requirements and click the 'Buy Now' button.You will then be transferred to the secure PayPal (Europe) page where you can either complete the form with your personal and card details or, if you already have a PayPal account, login in on the right. Please note, you do not need to have a PayPal account to proceed but if you do the transaction may be completed quicker than if you paid by credit or debit card. Whichever way you pay, your advertising credit/s should normally be added to our system within a few minutes. If they haven't been added after 24 hours, please contact us.

On completion of payment you will either be automatically redirected back to this website or you can click the link at the bottom of the PayPal confirmation page. An email will be sent to the address you specified to confirm your purchase.

On your return to the Sea Views Only (Locations) confirmation page you will be presented with a link to where you can create your advertisement/s.

3. Making your advertisement

Creating your advertisement/s is simply a matter of completing a form and uploading photographs from your computer. Next to each form field is a blue information circle which, on mouse-over, reveals an explanation of that field.

We strongly advise you to prepare your text and photographs before commencing the next step. Write the description of your property in your preferred office program or better still as a simple text document like Notepad, the latter will avoid proprietary mark-up styles (particularly with MS Word) interfering with your layout. The main text description for your advertisement should be well written in English, spelled correctly and broken up into paragraphs, rather like this page.  Have this file open when you decide to create your advertisement so that you can copy and paste the text.

You can upload up to five photographs of your location, saved as JPEG (.jpg) files directly from your computer. The maximum file size for each photo is 1MB, you can usually do this by reducing the DPI (Dots Per Inch) to 72 and the width to 500px. Please ensure that your photos have a minimum width of 500px which is the dimension of the expanded view and that the first photograph you upload is your best sea view. This photograph will be the one that 'fronts' your advertisement. If you do not do this we will do it before publication but be aware that this will delay publication. Remember to click the Save button at the bottom of the form, otherwise all will be lost and you will have to start again. If you don't know how to resize your photographs, or have problems reducing the file size, we recommend Fotosizer, a free and easy to use re-sizing tool, you can download it from www.fotosizer.com.

4. Publication

We will be notified that you have created your advertisement and will proof read and edit it, if necessary. In most instances, if we are in the office,  publication will occur within a few hours but please allow up to 48 hours if you create your advertisement during a weekend.

5. Editing after publication

You may edit your advertisement/s at any time by logging in as above and clicking 'My Advertisements' in the left menu, then select 'Update this Advertisement'. You can change a photo by simply uploading a new one over another. Remember to click 'Save'. To delete an advertisement follow the same process and click 'Delete this Advertisement'.

6. Expiration

You will be notified by email 7 days before your advertisement expires, you can renew it by following step 2 above. If you no longer require your advertisement you don't need to do anything, it will be removed when the time runs out.
