Sea Views Only was devised and created by Tim Heap and Sue English who trade as If Only International Ltd. Sea Views Only is the first of a series of aspirational websites planned by If Only.

Tim trained as a graphic designer and illustrator and achieved a BA(Hons) in 1981. He qualified as an Art teacher the following year. He worked as a community mural painter, sculptor and has undertaken various other creative projects. In 1998 he became a professional freelance website and print designer.

He has lived with a sea view for over twenty years and the If Only office is in his garden. He knows how special it is to wake up to a sea view and watch the sun set below the horizon, to breath the warm salty breeze and feel the thunderous roar of a gale blowing off the Atlantic. His love of coastal living has inspired him to enable others to find their own sea view idyll.

Sue and her family live in a small village a short distance from the coast. She and her husband have been running a local retail business for the last 21 years. During this time she also qualified as a teacher and subsequently worked as an educational researcher. In 2001 she achieved a doctorate in the field of education and online technology.

Whenever possible Sue enjoys walking her dog on a local beach or swimming in the bay. It was her desire to one day live with a sea view that triggered her to suggest to Tim that they create this website. It was then that they both realised that they had for some time been harbouring the same idea.

Working on a website with such wonderful and varied content is a great joy to us. Every day more great sea views and fabulous venues and properties are added, if only we could visit them all too!
